News｜ヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館への作品収蔵

この度、「flowing_dg/b/o」がイギリスの国立博物館であるヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館にコレクションとして収蔵されることになりました。

多大なるサポートをしていただいたThe Gallery by SOILのSusanna Pang氏に心より感謝申し上げます。

V&A博物館は多くの漆工芸コレクションを有しており、その博物館に収蔵されるということは、漆工の歴史が歩んできた一つの足跡として記録する意義がある作品と評価していただいたということだと思っています。

この重みを自覚し、これからも制作に向き合ってまいります。

I am pleased to announce that “flowing_dg/b/o” is added to the collection of the V&A Museum, the UK’s national museum.

I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Susanna Pang of The Gallery by SOIL for her tremendous support.

The V&A Museum has a large collection of lacquer art, and I believe that having my work included in their collection means that they recognize the significance of having it documented as part of the history of lacquer art.

I will continue to work on my creations with a clear awareness of the weight of this responsibility.
